In Cooperation With Asharqia Chamber
The Arabian Center of Family Businesses Offers a Family Business Consulting Program
ACOFB (Awuael currently), in collaboration with Alsharqia Chamber, from 13 December 2015 to 3 January 2016, offered a Family Business Consultancy Program, which was held at the headquarters of Asharqia Chamber in Dammam.
The program included free consultations, especially for owners of family businesses and enterprises, on a number of issues that concern them.
The consultation sessions aim at educating the beneficiaries, owners and managers of family businesses, in the best ways to achieve success and sustainability of their business, in addition to avoiding mistakes that may lead to the failure of the family company or threaten its future, in coordination between Alsharqia Chamber and the Arabian Center Family Businesses.
The program covers several areas, including family and business governance, family and business strategic planning, family conflicts resolution, family succession planning, family entrepreneurship, marketing studies, operational excellence, and blue ocean strategy.
Mr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Alwabel as a Secretary-General of Alsharqia Chamber, said that the Chamber's keenness to continue to provide free consultation sessions to family business owners on mechanisms to overcome challenges, safe transformation and achieve governance is in line with the positive changes in the national economy, where the trend is to diversify sources of national income and partnership with the private sector, which requires family businesses to reassess their policies in accordance with corporate governance and transition paths.
Mr. Alwabel noted the great importance of family businesses in the national economy. In addition to being able to absorb the bulk of the national workforce, it also plays a major role in consolidating social responsibility in society.
